Manasse Mbuyi, originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, moved to the United States at the age of 8. His passion for sports quickly developed, leading him to excel in soccer and basketball. Known for his competitive spirit and determination, Manasse attended Centennial High School in Boise, Idaho, where he led the varsity soccer team as a captain for two years and also contributed by helping coach his own team his senior year while out on an injury.
Following high school, Manasse pursued higher education at Trinity Christian College, where he studied exercise science and psychology while continuing his soccer career. At Trinity, he played on the Men’s soccer team and is now part of the coaching staff for the women's team.
In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Manasse has spent the past two years training in the fitness industry, further expanding his skill set and knowledge in health and wellness. With eight years of experience in one-on-one and group training focused on soccer, he brings a wealth of expertise to his athletes, ensuring they receive comprehensive guidance tailored to their individual needs.
Manasse is deeply committed to making a positive impact in people's lives, guided by his core values of faith, belief, honesty, and courage. He believes that focusing on the person rather than just the athlete is crucial, as personal growth shapes one's life. He values building strong, meaningful connections with his athletes, aiming to be a friend and mentor rather than just a coach. Through his experiences and teachings, Manasse hopes to inspire and better the next generation.
